NARROGIN PONY AND RIDING CLUB

We are situated on street in Narrogin only 3 minutes from the centre of town. We share the equestrian facilities with the Narrogin Equestrian Association and this gives us the ability to enjoy fantastic grounds to ride on and also participate in some great competitions as well. There is a great cross country course that goes from Pony club E grade right up to EFA 3 star level. This gives our riders a huge benefit by exposing them to excellent jump combinations and fences that let them experience things they will come up against in other competitions.

THE PONY CLUB MOVEMENT

Pony Club is a Youth Movement and uses the horse as a focal point of interest to train its members in the aims and objectives.

The Pony Club member must learn to understand and care for their pony, while at the same time learning to improve their riding skills.

It encourages participation by providing all members with the opportunity to participate in activities, regardless of their riding ability or the quality of their mounts.

Membership is open to anyone under 25 years of age

To encourage young people to ride and learn to enjoy all approved kinds of sport connected with horse and riding

To provide instruction in horsemastership and to instill in members the proper care of their animals

To promote the highest ideals of fellowship, citizenship and loyalty and to cultivate strength of character and self-discipline.
